“Firstly, this app is exactly what I've been looking for to help me track barometric pressure, notice past trends as they correlate to my migraines, and get alerts for the future so I can hopefully prevent migraines before they start. …”
“First it’s pay once not a subscription and not expensive. … 1 record the barometric pressure, 2 warn me of sudden changes up or down and 3 it lets me export the data so I can overlay it against my health or other data.”
“Very easy to use and I really like that it still works even without an internet connection”
“This does exactly what I was looking for to get notifications of pressure drops to assess correlations with migraine attacks. It does this with a good clean interface, doesn’t collect user data, and has an entirely reasonable one-time purchase fee for the full feature unlock.”
“I have tried so many barometric apps. I need to keep track of barometric pressure thanks to migraines and tinnitus. With that in mind, I would like to request that the dev re-add the ability to have a notification/alarm when the barometric pressure goes up. Changes in either direction are important to monitor for a certain population. Everything else is great! Thank you for offering this for free today too!”
FAQ
Local readings and history come from the device’s pressure and altitude sensors. Forecast uses weather data for the city or location you select.
Local readings and saved history work offline. Internet access is required to search locations and download or refresh forecast data, but cached forecasts remain available without a connection.
Depending on the device and iOS version, Apple may require Motion and Fitness, Location, or Wi-Fi to expose altitude and pressure data correctly. Location also lets Forecast show your current city, but you can search for a city manually instead.
Turn on Background App Refresh for Barometer and avoid force-quitting the app from the app switcher. iOS decides the background schedule over time.
